Privacy policy

Growth Partner OS is operated by Andres A. Santos, sole proprietor ("we"). This policy explains what we collect when you buy from us, and what we do with it. It is short because we collect very little.

What we collect

• Your email address and name, as you give them to Stripe at checkout. Stripe passes them to us so we can deliver your purchase and support it afterwards.
• Your purchase record: the licence key we issue you, the amount paid, the pricing tier, and Stripe's identifiers for the payment. If you buy the 12-month Updates Pass (or had Fixer and 12 months of updates), the same for it, with the date it runs until. We never receive or store your card number.
• If you buy the Day One Kit: the answers you give for it (your business name, what you do, your city or service area and the look you pick), and the details you add for your website: a phone number, a public email address, your state (it goes in your service agreement and isn't published), a booking link if you give one, and up to four services. We store them with your purchase record. They're used to build your website, and your phone number, public email and booking link are published on it, because that's what they're for. Your email signature is made in your browser and isn't sent to us.
• If you leave checkout: the exit page stores your answer (and any note you add) and counts that the page was opened, both anonymously, with no personal data attached.
• If you ask for a free guide (the price sheet, or earlier the Cold Pitch Kit): your email address, when you asked, the page you were on and any campaign tags, so we can email you the guide and occasional product updates. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time. When the form is sent, the Meta Pixel records a “Lead” event (that a sign-up happened, not your email address).
• If you ask for a free private plan: your email address, your answers to the plan’s five questions (where you are now, how you want to earn, the businesses you’d pitch first, your city and your hours a week), when you asked and any campaign tags, so we can build your plan, email you its link and a few short tips, and offer you Growth Partner OS. Your plan has its own private web address; the page never shows your email address. Every email has an unsubscribe link. When the form is sent, the Meta Pixel records a “Lead” event (that a sign-up happened, not your email address).
• If you apply for the Growth Partner Program: your name, email address, mobile number, your answers to the application’s questions (where you’re starting from, your business name and online presence, your hours a week, your goal, what’s held you back and whether you’re ready to invest), when you applied, that you agreed to calls and texts about your application (and the exact words you agreed to), and any campaign tags, so a project director can call or text you about your application and email you its details. When the form is sent, the Meta Pixel records a “Lead” event (that a sign-up happened, not your email address). Reply STOP to any text, or tell us on the call, and we stop.
• Update checks: from version 1.4.1 the app asks us about once a day whether a new version is out. Each check sends your licence key, the version the app is running and how it was installed (Mac, Windows or the zip). We keep the version number it last reported, the install type and the time of that check on your purchase record. You can turn the check off in the app’s Settings.
• Campaign tags: if you arrive from an ad or a link carrying UTM parameters, those tags are stored with your purchase record so we know which campaign it came from.

We only collect a phone number if you buy the Day One Kit and add one for your website, and we never text or call it. We don't send text messages, and we don't run an account system — there's no password and nothing to log into.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information. The advertising measurement described below does send Meta the events it lists, which California law may treat as “sharing” for advertising.

How we use it

• To deliver your licence key and download link, and to let you re-download
• To verify your licence key when the software checks it
• To process payments and refunds, and to prevent fraud
• To answer your emails about your purchase
• If you buy the Day One Kit, to build and publish your website with the details you give for it
• If you have the 12-month Updates Pass, or Fixer and 12 months of updates, to email you each update it covers while it lasts
• If you ask for a free guide, to email it to you, and occasional product updates until you unsubscribe
• If you ask for a free private plan, to build it and email you its link, a few short tips and offers about Growth Partner OS, until you unsubscribe
• If you apply for the Growth Partner Program, to call or text you about your application and email you its details
• To offer your app the updates your licence covers, and to know which versions are in use
• To understand which campaigns produce sales

Who processes it for us

The services that run this business: Stripe (payments), Supabase (the database holding purchase records), Netlify (hosting, including Day One Kit websites), Resend (delivery, support, free guide and private plan email) and Meta (advertising measurement, described below). Each handles your data only to provide its service to us.

What the software itself does

Growth Partner OS runs on your own machine, on your own API keys. Apart from the update check above (and the licence check when you set it up), it doesn't report back to us: it has no telemetry, and we can't see what you audit, who you contact or what you earn. You have the source — you can verify that yourself.

Advertising measurement

This site uses the Meta Pixel to measure which of our ads lead to visits and sales. It records visiting the page, seeing the price, starting checkout, completing a purchase (with its amount), how much of the video is watched, and signing up for a free guide (only that it happened, never the email address). Meta receives these with the identifiers its pixel sets or reads in your browser, under Meta’s own privacy policy.

When you buy, our server also tells Meta about the purchase (what you bought and the amount) so it can be matched to an ad. It sends a one-way hash of your email address — never the address itself — and, if you came from one of our ads, the click identifier Meta added to that link; nothing else about you. To stop the browser part, block third-party trackers or cookies in your browser.

Google Ads

This site uses Google Ads conversion tracking. Google’s tag sets or reads advertising cookies in your browser so Google can tell us when a visit or a purchase came from one of our Google ads, and so our ads can be shown again to people who visited. On pages whose address holds a private link, such as your access page, Google gets the address without that private part. California law may treat this as “sharing” for advertising. Google handles it under its own privacy policy; you can manage the ads Google shows you at myadcenter.google.com, or block third-party cookies in your browser.

Your rights

Email licenses@growthpartnersos.com to access, correct or delete your information, or to ask us to stop emailing you. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete and correct personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising — we don't sell it; the advertising measurement above may count as sharing, and you can ask us to stop the server-side purchase event by email. We won't treat you differently for exercising any of these.

Deleting your data

We'll delete your purchase record on request. Be aware that deleting it invalidates your licence key and closes your download access, since that record is what proves you bought it. We'll say so before we act, and we keep whatever payment records tax law requires us to keep.

Retention

We keep purchase records for as long as your licence is valid, so that re-downloads and licence checks keep working, and payment records for as long as tax law requires. Free guide and private plan sign-ups, and program applications, are kept until you ask us to delete them; once you unsubscribe we keep only enough to make sure you aren't emailed again.

Children

This is a business tool and isn't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above.
